The LVT-2 (Landing Vehicle, Tracked, Model 2), nicknamed the "Water Buffalo," was a crucial WWII amphibious tracked vehicle, an improved successor to the LVT-1, featuring better suspension (torsilastic) and engine for superior performance on land and sea, used by US Marines & Army for troop/cargo transport in the Pacific (Tarawa, Iwo Jima) and even Europe (Rhine crossings).
It could carry 24 troops but had an exposed personnel area, leading to armored variants like the LVT(A)-2, and served as a versatile platform for various tasks from supply to flamethrower support.

You will need scissors, a craft knife, glue, appropriate paper and some stiffer card for bases, all of which are described in the how-to section.
