History
Our ancient Egyptian bundle is set at the height of the New Kingdom under Rameses II. Egypt was a major imperial power with a regular army of Egyptians and a powerful chariot arm, supplemented by auxiliaries from her many subject nations. Her spreading borders brought Egypt into violent conflict with other major powers such as the Hittites. The battle of Quadesh lies at the heart of this era.
Despite her strength she was subject to incursions from the hard-fighting Sea People, and rebellions inside her borders. It is a rich an colourful period.
We are publishing the Egyptian army while preparation for the Hittites and Sea People is underway. There will also be some terrain items. You can follow the progress of Egypt’s enemies on the facebook group page.
The Bundle in 18mm
The 18mm Egyptian PaperBoys bundle offers a unique opportunity to field larger armies and recreate epic battles on the tabletop. Compared to the 28mm scale, the smaller size of 18mm miniatures allows for a greater number of units to be placed on a single sheet of paper, making it easier to assemble vast armies. This increased density of troops enables players to simulate large-scale engagements with greater accuracy and realism. The smaller scale also allows for more flexibility in terms of battlefield layout, enabling players to create more intricate and detailed terrain features.

Don't forget to download (for free!) the Rattlesnake Ranch Base Paper in the Terrain Section.
Once downloaded, the sheets can be printed as often as you like, which means you can build up Large Egyptian Armies very cheaply.
You will need scissors, a craft knife, glue, appropriate paper and some stiffer card for bases, all of which are described in the how-to section.
The figures are laid out in A4 format, which will print onto US legal sized paper, or will fit US letter size printed at 93%.
