Skirmish PaperBoys!

Originally, the paperboys were intended to be an antidote to the proliferation of skirmish games, and the decline in the big battle game, squeezed out by the sheer expense of forming massive armies of traditional figures.

However, many Paperboys fans have adapted the grouped figures to use as singles, and requested special skirmish sets, so we have opened a new themed area of single figures to use in these games, starting with Sergio Artigas’ careful re-working of the Vikings from the 1066 book. They have been given the Sergio treatment with varied shield patterns and enriched colours to turn them into a vivid Norse horde.

Saxons and Normans will get the same treatment, and entirely original sets will no doubt follow soon enough, with grouped terrain bundles and some other new ideas to go with them.
